Listen As A Podcast

April the 26th.

Moving forward, in our return to hope, we might take a moment to think about the symbol that has often been used to represent hope: it is the symbol of the anchor.

An anchor attaches itself to the seabed and holds a ship in a steady position. It keeps it from drifting or being swept about by the wind and the currents. So too does hope keep us on track. It centers our lives and gives them consistency and direction.

In these days, our focus is on the resurrection of Jesus. A better grasp of it gives us hope. It gives direction and consistency to our faith lives.

Risen Savior, give light in direction to my journey towards you this year.
