Listen As A Podcast

  March the 14th.

Today's gospel reading points out the need for compassion and mercy as we make our return to hope.

Jesus relates the story of the servant who was the recipient of great mercy and compassion on the part of the king. Yet when he had a chance to imitate it, and in a much lesser way, he turned it.

Each of us can undoubtedly think of moments when this scenario played itself out in our lives. We have no understanding and compassion, but then have been reluctant to reciprocate. Why? It seemed more than we could do. It was difficult. It hurt.

As we listen to this all to familiar your story, hear what the Lord says. Reflect how it plays a part of your journey of hope this Lent.
