May the 24th.
Again, today, both readings bring us strength and consolation as we conclude our return to hope.
Jesus prays for his apostles and disciples. Paul prays for those whom he has taught and instructed. The same is true today. Jesus prays for us whom he has gathered together in this way for this journey of hope.
As for the apostles and disciples, he prays that we will be faithful to the truth in a world beset with so many conflicting voices. What a great gift as we struggle to fulfill the mission we have been given and have tried to know better during these days more.
Lord Jesus, thank you for your prayers and your support.
