May the 22nd.
At that gathering of the apostles after the Ascension, they surely remembered the many things that Jesus had shared with them.
They probably remembered that he had foretold moments when their peace would be shaken. Perhaps the uncertainty of this moment was one of them. He had told them that I will be with you, I will not abandon you.
We might ponder did that promise give them peace? Did it afford them strength? As we prepare to face this moment in our journey, it is something we should reflect upon. It is something that should give strength to our spiritual lives. There will be many such moments in our lives.
Let us not forget this one and the peace that it gave them.
