March the 24th.
Listening to the gospel reading for today, we are invited to hear how the people of Jesus' time reacted to what He was telling them about Himself. Like the image portrayed in the Old Testament reading, they were reluctant to accept what they received.
As we make our Lenten journey. We might ask ourselves, how well do we accept what we know about Christ? Do we let His teachings motivate our lives? Do we imitate and foster the mercy and compassion He taught? Do we proclaim our discipleship in the lives that we live?
Literally speaking, do we radiate the gospel message each day?
Lord, help me to reflect Your mercy and love.
