Tau Talks are monthly inspiring conversations on topics of faith that are important to you. The talks are held close to where our parishioners live. It’s an opportunity to grow in your faith. Please bring a friend and join us every month on the third Wednesday online!
This month, we are talking about “Addressing Racism & The Church”.
In light of recent events in our country, it is important for us as Catholics to have open conversations about racism and truly listen to our brothers and sisters. Adam and Friar Nick sit down for a powerful conversation with Fr. Alonzo Cox – Pastor of St. Martin de Porres Parish in Brooklyn, NY and Episcopal Vicar for the Black Vicariate in the Diocese of Brooklyn, and Fr. Daniel Kingsley – Parochial Vicar of St. Martin de Porres Parish. Fr. Alonzo and Fr. Daniel serve the largest population of Black Catholics in the United States and firsthand minister to those affected by racism and violence, as well as share their own experiences of encountering racism in and out of the Church.
