LEARN MORE ABOUT WELCOME HOME SUNDAY

  • There are many different valid reasons that people haven’t been to church in a while. Whether it was Covid, the business of life, or the negativity and hurt surrounding the Church. Welcome Home Sunday is a chance for people who haven’t been to church in a while to come back to Mass, strengthen their spirituality, and to become a part of our community.

  • We start with Mass at 10:00 AM in our historic 177-year-old church with the Franciscan Friars.

After Mass, you’re invited downstairs to our lower Grotto church to learn all about what Assumption has to offer. From our outreach ministries like the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen, our Health Center, reaching our neighbors through Alpha and 11:11 at The Grotto, RCIA, our chapel & Catholic shop at The Franciscan Place at Destiny USA, our Community Nights and so much more.

There will be refreshments, music, tours of the main church, and chances to sign up for everything going on at Assumption.

  • ABSOLUTELY!

Welcome Home Sunday is for everyone. If you’re not Catholic, we are so excited to meet you and to share with you all about Assumption. We love to make Mass and the experience of Church to be accessible to everyone.

If you are Catholic but Assumption isn’t your home parish, we can’t wait to meet you and show you why we love our parish and our community here on the Northside.

  • First, pray! Pray that people join us and learn all about how they can make Assumption their home.

Next, show up. Make sure you join us for 10:00 AM Mass on October 1.
